What age do you have to be to skydive in Los Angeles?

All participants who are planning to skydive over Los Angeles will be asked to sign a waiver prior to performing their first skydiving adventure. Because this waiver is a legal contract, all skydivers must be at least 18 years of age. This is applicable when skydiving in Los Angeles, California, or any location within our network within the entire United States.

Is a recording of my skydiving jump provided to me?

Skydiving Near Los Angeles's video packages provide the best recording options available. We'll film a short video conversation with you just before you board and on the plane ride to the jump location. You'll have the entire process of your jump as the videographer will make your jump with you in order to record your freefall as well. To capture those last minutes of landing, the videographer will land before you.

Could skydivers bring their own digital cameras for their jump?

We encourage you to bring your own camera and shoot some pictures, or possibly video, from the ground. Cameras are not to be brought onto the airplane before your skydiving jump.

What altitude and speed will the airplane reach for the jump?

The amount of strong wind and the overall weather elements contribute in just how high we'll ascend for your jump. Most of the time, tandem skydives occur at a maximum height of 14,000 feet. As you are falling, your speeds will grow as high as 120 mph.

Can my party of friends all jump simultaneously?

For the most part, we do our best to make sure you have the best possible group of people to dive with. You may be able to jump all together, but take into consideration a few things first. There is a very quick delay between you and every other skydiver from the plane, which means that you may not freefall and canopy ride at the same moment. A lot of our groups and couples decide to go on different loads so that they can see their friends freefall and land.

What if you want to bring along a friend that does not want to dive, but would like to see you skydive?

Family and friends are welcomed to arrive with you to watch your sky diving adventure even when they do not wish to dive themselves. However, please keep in mind those who do not wish to jump are unable to enter the plane with you.
